The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive,  you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.
I accept returns and offer a full refund if you are not happy with your purchase. The Smiths - 'Girlfriend In A Coma' - White Label Promo 12" - 1987 Catalogue no. RTT 197 - Rough Trade Records The releases of the majority of The Smiths Rough Trade singles were promoted through 'white label' pressings which were sent to radio stations in advance of the single release date. Such 'white label' pressings were produced in very limited numbers before the pressings of the standard 12" singles began, and the numbers which were pressed undoubtedly varied greatly between the different single releases. While there are a few 12" singles whose 'white label' records appear to be more common, these promotional pressings for 'Girlfriend In A Coma' very rarely appear for sale and it seems almost certain that relatively few copies were pressed for the last three Smiths single releases judging by the infrequency with which they are seen on the market. While all of the Smiths white label 12"s are becoming ever more scarce and valuable, being seen less and less often offered up for sale these days as they are increasingly bought up by collectors, this white label pressing appears to be significantly more scarce than many of the others. This is a rare opportunity to obtain one of these original and genuine first pressings of a Smiths 12" single release, and which is offered here in superb condition (see below).

The vinyl and labels are in terrific near mint condition, having been played no more than a few times and having been extremely well looked-after. There are only a few very light 'hairline' superficial surface 'scuff' marks on the vinyl in one or two places; the vinyl appears bright and glossy when held to the light. The white labels are very clean, and have no writing or significant marks on them other than the lightest of 'spindle' marks which suggest it has been played only once or twice. The relatively more common outer and inner sleeves are both present, and are in strong excellent condition with light signs of wear and handling in places but both remain extremely presentable with no significant creases or damage. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the Ebay ID lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.

Postage and Packing is 3.90 in the UK for untracked and uninsured standard postage, this is generally subsidised by myself and the actual costs to me will usually be higher. Please do consider paying the extra 90p for tracked postage since there is nothing that can be done to find out what happened if the parcel is lost when standard postage is chosen. Shipping costs are greater for overseas buyers, but still subsidised and very good value; please check prices by using the options above or feel free to ask.
