On offer here is a great rare record for all you Kiss fans out there. This is the Destroyer album issued in the UK in 1977 ON RED VINYL. This is an original first pressing and rarely seems to turn up for sale.
The sleeve is a little worn with a few small creases near the spine and some edge wear. There are no tears or damage. The writing on the spine is still readable. I will grade as Very Good. The inner sleeve is plain white. The catalogue sleeve number is CAL 2009.
The all important record does not appear to have been played that much. There is very little spindle wear and only light hairlines. There are some light grey streaky marks on the vinyl which was done when originally pressed and NOT at a later date. I will grade as VG+. Please check out the label as it says Manufactured and Marketed by Pye Records ATV House Gt Cumberland Place W1 proving this is a UK pressing and not pressed abroad.
The record plays really well on my stereo. It's a privilege to turn up the volume and play classic tracks like Flaming Youth and Do You Love Me. They still sound fresh and exciting after all these years. There is minimal occasional light static and a couple of clicks on each side. Nothing to spoil your enjoyment of this great record. I will grade both sides as Near Excellent or better.
Matrix numbers are Side 1 CAL2009 A1 and Side 2 CAL2009 B1.
This is a great opportunity for any Kiss fan to add this rare LP to their collection. These red vinyl originals are rarely seen.
