The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

(Parlophone PMC 7027 UK LP 1967)

This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original custom psychedelic inner sleeve. This has the "Patents Applied For" text. It also comes with the card "cut-out" insert.

The record has black & yellow Parlophone labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are: YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1. The mother stampers are OT 2 and ML 3 3. A genuine UK 1st Stereo pressing.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild rubbing wear at the corner tips & sleeve opening. There is some mild rubbing wear, & a tiny dent, to the spine also. There is some light ringwear too. VG+ condition.

Vinyl: Side 2 shows mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are two very small hairline marks. It is in VG+ condition. Side 1 shows mild to moderate sleeve rubs. There are two light marks that are approx 2.5" in length. There is also one small hairline mark at the start of the side that cause some light intermittent clicks that do not last too long. It is in Good+ condition. Overall the LP grades. Good++ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear only. Apart from the aforementioned few light clicks, the LP plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. 

Sadly the Psychedelic Inner Sleeve is quite tatty. It has a 6" by 1" tape stain at the bottom of both sides. There is a 5.5" seam split at the bottom. It has a 7" seam split down one side & a 1" seam split at the other side. There is a small tear at the opening too. It is in Good condition overall. The card insert is in Very Near EX condition. There is very light wear only. 

The vinyl has also been placed in a separate polythene-lined inner sleeve. I shall separate this from the psychedelic inner from further damage transit.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.50 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
