This record has been cleaned on an MK-III vacuum clean system. It’s a 2-part system.
1st: Record is cleaned with cleaner solution and vacuumed. 2nd: Record is cleaned with distilled water and vacuumed. This is a professional standard cleaning system that greatly improves the sound quality of the vinyl record. The record is play graded after the cleaning process.
Record Grading Scale:
M/SS = Mint (M) or Still Factory Sealed (SS)
A brand new record that
has never been opened and is still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap. It’s
considered Mint unless otherwise noted.
NM/M- = Near mint (NM) or Mint Minus (M-)
Record: It’s a superb listening experience. It may only have been played a few times. Vinyl is clean and shiny with virtually no signs of wear except from surface contact with the inner sleeve. No surface noise. Sleeve: Very clean appearing and well preserved. It looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. It has a like new appearance.
EX = Excellent (EX)
Record: It’s a wonderful listening experience. It will play with virtually no surface noise. Vinyl is nice and shiny but may have some light scuffs or “wispy wear”.
Sleeve: Hardly
any noticeable wear except for a few minor imperfections. It will still be in
strong collectible condition.l
VG+ = Very Good Plus (VG+)
Record: It’s a great listening experience. It occasionally has low surface noise but is seldom and hardly noticeable. It may show some light signs of wear. A slight warp in the record is acceptable (this will always be noted on the listing).
Sleeve: It may have some minor wear or light ring wear but does not have any serious damage or defects. It might have some very minor seam wear or a split less than one inch long and may have a cut-out marking or saw tooth cut. (cuts or splits are always noted on the listing).
VG = Very Good (VG)
Record: It’s a good listening experience. The LP has low surface noise on some tracks but will not overpower the music and some crackling may be audible. It has light wear, a warp, and or scratches in the vinyl.
Sleeve: It
will have some creases, may have seam splits larger than one inch, moderate ring
wear, a price sticker, or tears on the artwork cover (all defects will be
noted).
G+ = Good Plus (G+)
Record: This is the lowest grade for a good listening experience. It will play with surface noise and crackling. It has scratches, scuffs, and overall wear. Sleeve: Heavy ring wear, tears, or splits but it is still intact and functional.
G = Good (G)
Record: This record does not provide a good listening experience. It has surface noise, skips, crackles, and or pops. It’s considered worthy of display only or is rare and hard to find in any condition.
Sleeve: Heavily worn out with large splits, faded artwork and or tears. It may be completely split in two pieces and not hold the record.
