This is the original 1959 release By Canadian-American Records vintage self titled vinyl LP entitled " Santo & Johnny " (CALP 1001) by the amazing guitar duo the took the country by storm in late 1950s. This is their first album with early all black label and features the hit single in 1959 entitled " Sleepwalk" (a #1 on the charts). Other tracks include " Summertime ",  " Raunchy " and ." School Day ". The vinyl has light scratches on each side and produces some minor surface noise most notable on slower passages. Nonetheless, the the record does not shave skips or repeats and plays through on each side. We rate this vinyl as VG to VG+ based on Goldmine standards. A new white generic inner sleeve is provided to help preserve this rare 57 year old gem for generations ro come.
The outer jacket features a splendid close-up color photo of these amazing artists performing with a Fender steel guitar and a vintage electric guitar. This cover is an outstanding candidate to be framed if one is so inclined. The back cover has some fading but is fully legible without any added writings. The jacket corners have softened but no seam splits. We rate this jacket as VG+.This MONO album lists at $60 IF in NM condition per the 2009 6ht edition of Goldmine Record Album Price Guide. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included.

The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket (outer sleeve).
