Vinyl Killer Battery Powered Volkswagen Van Record Player Made in Japan
Made in Japan. Runs off a 9-volt battery in the rear of the VW Volkswagen bus. Lift the antenna to turn it on and it automatically drives using the grooves of any 33 1/3 record album. It plays the record through a speaker on top of the bus.
Made in Japan by Hitec Corporation and produced by Vacuum Records. Vintage. I bought this through mail order from Japan 20 years ago. It works and is clearly shown in the photos. You will have to make sure the back latch of the battery compartment completely clicks shut when loading the 9-volt.
