This is the 1975 original Reprise Records release of " Southern Nights " (MS 2186) by singer-songwriter Allen Toussaint. The title track became a mega crossover hit by country legend Glen Campbell in 1977 and reached #1 on the Billboard Top 100 Pop Chart. We rate the outer jacket as a solid EX+ as to condition and it would be an awesome jacket to frame for one so inclined. The original Warner inner sleeve is also very nice but has an untaped bottom edge split. 
PLEASE NOTE: The shiny vinyl on Side 1 looks unblemished but does produce a couple of skips (barely noticeable) on the first track (Last Train). Side 2 has a couple of noticeable scuffs/scratches (not feel-able) but plays through without a hitch producing a great stereo sound and listening experience. We must rate this vinyl with the Side 1 issues stated as VG to VG+ overall. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to protect this vinyl LP for another 42+ years. 

The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket in shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
