Please get in touch and tell me the highest number of items you are interested in and I can calculate the best shipping options.
I have some very economical options available for UK and International delivery.
No local collection, sorry.
Dispatch
Dispatch time is set to five working days, however I will be aiming for sooner.
This is to allow time to work through the orders and arrange couriers etc, as I will have many auctions ending in a short space of time.
The less messages asking as to when I will be dispatching the better, I will be working each day without fail until all the items are on their way, eBay will show you estimated delivery dates, which will be the latest your parcel should arrive!
Item Condition / Grading For My Vinyl Auctions
Please check carefully descriptions for each item.
Most of the records at auction have general, to more pronounced signs of use, or a minor fault.
The aim is for the item to be enjoyable overall - some have a scuff or scratch effecting a track but play well otherwise, a minor warp but play well otherwise, frequent light surface marks but play well otherwise, surface noise in the opening passages but play well otherwise, etc...
I am checking playing quality for each record as carefully as possible and giving a brief description so the buyer has a good idea what they are getting, there may be something here and there which is not noticed and not mentioned, a stuck or skipping groove for example.
Sleeves will show various signs of age use & storage throughout.
I do not list any cracked, damp, largely warped, heavily scratched or soiled junk!
*However these auctions are not recommended for those fussy about condition*
Value placed on used records is based on desirability of the artist and scarcity but primarily condition.
Bid with this in mind and consider that an ambient or folk album is more likely to be disturbed by surface presence than a heavy metal album for example.
The aim is for some used but enjoyable albums at bargain bin starting prices, so buyers can bid as they see fit, and take advantage of combined shipping rates.
Here is the Goldmining Records grading system to give a general idea of what to expect along with my notes for each item.
VERY GOOD PLUS
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.

Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".

The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.

Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

VERY GOOD
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
