This is the outstanding 1979 classic album THE POLICE released in 1979.   This LP disc is in excellent condition.  The disc labels for sides 1 and 2 are immaculate -- best I've ever seen  on a vintage Vinyl LP with ZERO signs of spindle wear.   The trac vinyl has no marks or imperfections and the audio on this album is absolutely incredible.  It has been carefully played during the past 38 years as well as correctly stored and maintained.    Interesting in that there is a $3.50 price tag on the cover.  Either it was never shrink wrapped or was resold as a used record years ago.  I believe there was a special slip sheet for the disc.  It was missing when I bought the collection.

This is a fairly rare album that has been in continued demand.   

As mentioned above, this album is the second that produced by THE POLICE and the songs were written mostly by STING and some by STING AND COPELAND.  Recorded in 1978 and released in 1979.

This LP is certainly a candidate for a collection,  AND it's an original ANALOG VINYL LP with age provenance and not a 2017 Vinyl LP 180 Gram Reproduction that might be remastered from a digital CD source that wouldn't have the same warmth, smoothness and richness of analog.

CAUTION:  THE ORIGINAL VINYL LP PROCESS ALWAYS WAS AND IS...  ANALOG!!!   THAT'S WHAT GAVE THE QUALITY THAT IS SOUGHT.  

"LP JUNKIES" RECOMMEND:  By definition, vinyl is an analog format. Whenever possible, when looking for vinly LP's, avoid records that contain the word “digital” in their descriptions.
