Item: The Beatles – Abbey Road UK LP PCS 7088 late 1970’s laminated issue in superb condition. Most likely one of the last laminated 1970’s issues as they were later non laminated sleeves. 

Matrix Numbers: Side 1 YEX 749 - 4

3 Stamped At 9 O'Clock

HR Stamped At 3 O'Clock

                        Side 2 YEX 750 - 3

2 Stamped At 9 O'Clock RH

Stamped At 3 O'Clock

Also has the letters HTM scratched into side 2 meaning the record was cut by cutting engineer Harry T Moss.  

Record Weight: 122g 

Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve fully laminated on both sides. 

Inner Sleeve: Original EMI take care of your record advertising inner and Patents No credit and a date of 4/77. 

Labels: Apple labels with her Majesty credit on side 2 

Detailed Descriptions

The Sleeve: EX+ Great condition only a few creases near the spine otherwise is virtually crease free which is very hard to find on laminated issues. The spine is clearly readable and has no damage. A superb copy overall.

Inner Sleeve: VG- Has some browning spots and a 4cm seam split to the bottom no writing or rips anywhere. 

The Labels: EX+ Only some a few spindle marks to side 2 otherwise superb condition no writing or other issues. 

Record Visually Graded: EX+ Virtually NM apart from a couple of very light wispy marks noting deep still looks like virtually new. 

Record Playback: NM Sounds superb which is a great listen with hardly any surface noise and no clicks or pops. 

I use the following grading system: M=Mint, NM=Near Mint, EX=Excellent, VG=Very Good, G= Good, F=Fair, P=Poor B=Bad  

THE RECORD HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED ON A RECORD CLEANING MACHINE WITH A NON ALCOHOL SOLUTION.
