  WOW! Super Clean The Beatles "Yesterday And Today" Mono Second State Butcher Cover Record LP Album

Up for sale is a great album by The Beatles. The album title is "Yesterday And Today." The record was released on the "Capitol Records" Label. This original MONO Cover is the famous "Butcher Cover" Second State Paste Over Version. The original "Butcher Cover" issued was so controversial that Capitol Records recalled as many as they could and to save money simply came up with the now famous "Trunk" paste over.  Not many Beatles fans know why The Beatles originally decided on the Butcher Cover, it was to tell their fans that Capitol Records was butchering their music in order to promote sales. The cover is stunning with all corners intact, absolutely no ring ware. There is a small section in the upper right corner that has been peeled back by the original owner to ensure it was indeed a "Butcher Cover" see photos.  There is no damage to the underlying cover. I wish he hadn't done that, but it is what it is. The record is considered collectors' quality. It is a stunning piece of vinyl, has mirror gloss finishes, and retains ALL its ORIGINAL shine and luster. It does have some scuffs NO scratches and plays excellent. All-in All I think you will be hard pressed to find another cover in this condition. This would enhance any collection of Beatles memorabilia and it seems the group still grows in popularity every year which means this is a great investment. Due to the value of this album there will be a signature required for delivery.
