(SAX 2430 and SAX 2431 UK 2 x LP 1962)

 

This is a UK original Stereo 2 x LP pressing. Both LP's have a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a mid sized "Stereo" on the front. They come with their original polythene lined company "EMI" inner sleeves. 

The records has "blue and silver" Columbia labels. They have 1st press YAX 309-13, YAX 310-8, YAX 311-2 and YAX 312-12 matrix numbers. This double LP set is quite rare. I have some other rare UK Classical LP's for sale too.

LP 1: (SAX 2316)

Sleeve: There is some writing, in green biro, on the rear sleeve. There is also a mild tear at the rear sleeve opening. A small portion of the sleeve has been torn away. There is a mild tear on one flipback. There is mild fading to the rear also. VG- condition.

Vinyl: Light sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. VERY NEAR EX condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show no spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent. There is some very light crackle in a very few of the quieter passages. The company "Emitex" inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light fading wear but no seam splits.

LP 2: (SAX 2317)

Sleeve: There is a very small 1 cm tear at the top right corner tip. There is a stain on the rear sleeve that runs along the spine area. This has caused a tear to the top third of the flipback in this area. There is a mild sticker stain on the rear, & some light to mild fading too. VG condition.

Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. There are a very few tiny marks at the start of Side 3. VG+ condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show next to no spindle wear only. Plays VG+ overall and Near Excellent in many areas. There is some light or very mild crackle in some of the quieter passages. This is more prevalent on Side 4. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild wear but no seam splits.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
