This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated flipback sleeve which has a blue border on the rear. There is also a printed date stamp on the bottom flipback (F.R.B. 10/58). This means that the sleeve was printed in October 1958. It comes with its original "FFSS" Stereophonic polythene-lined company inner sleeve. 

The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has first press ZAL-3803-1E and ZAL-3804-1E matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.

Overall the sleeve is very nice. This would suite someone with a worn sleeve but good quality LP.

 

Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light laminate peeling at the front sleeve opening. There is some light ringwear too. VG++ condition.

Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. There are some mild to more moderate polythene bag marks too. There are 3-4 light marks too. Good+ condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show very light spindle wear only. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall. There is some light or mild crackle in the quieter areas. There is some more moderate crackle in a few quieter passages too. There are no loud clicks or pops. It does not jump or stick. The company inner sleeve is in Very Near EX condition. There is some light wear and no seam splits.

Overall the sleeve is very nice but the vinyl is not so good. This would suit someone with a worn sleeve but a good quality original LP.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
