NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" LP Merge Records, Feb 1998, MRG 136
Media: EX to NM-, only the slightest signs of handling.
Sleeve: Still in shrink wrap and with original Instert.
About This Item The original US 1st pressing of this classic for the first wave of Pitchfork fans who still read it even after the original review of the album clearly went over the reviewer's head. And a requirement for having a girlfriend or boyfriend like "April Ludgate."
While this album is more remembered these days for easy joke at or an allusions to hipsters like what I'm guilty of in the prior sentences, but this album is still a one of a kind piece of beautiful surrealism meets ugly realism while the supernatural and childish ideas collide with the existential fears we all face as we grow older. A must experience album.

Photos & Recordings
All photos are of the actual item for sale/auction and will always try to highlight any flaws or signs of wear/damage to the item. Photos are shot using Canon Rebel T1i digital camera and a tripod. When needed, color or white balancing will be performed to provide the most accurate visual representation.
For audio rips, I use a simple, no-thrills setup consisting of a 1200 MkII turntable, a Rane TTM-56s mixer into a Focusrite Scarlett. This is then recorded into Ableton Live with no added processing or effects. A limiter is Ableton Live but this should not color the sound in any way and is just a failsafe to prevent clipping.
Packing and Shipping Procedure
Every purchase is shipped using sturdy professional mailers. All records are removed from their outer sleeves (and original inner sleeves if included) and placed into a generic white sleeve before packing. All contents are then placed into a clear plastic sleeve with added cardboard inserts placed into the mailer for support.
Domestic items ship media mail. If you prefer another service, message me but I like media mail, it has always worked out for me. Handling times are usually 2-4 business days following the order, sometimes less, but if something interferes and it will take longer to ship, I will contact you as soon as possible. Please understand that this is not my full-time job but I take customer satisfaction almost as seriously as my full-time career.
Domestic Shipping Prices/Multiple-Item Orders Pricing
$3.99 for a single LP and $2.99 for a single 7". Orders of 2 or more records pay the flat/max rate of $4.99. These may not apply to box sets or 3X LPs.
International Shipping Prices
Actual price which is typically $14-$17 for a 45 and $16-$21 for an LP.
Grading
I grade conservatively and try to be as descriptive as possible. And unless noted otherwise in a listing, I use a combination of both visual quality and audio quality in determining the grading.
**This is the Scale I use for Grading, which is based on the Goldmine grading scale, probably the most familiar grading scale. If you are familiar with this scale, then you will comfortable with my grading:
NM: possibly never played and with pretty much no visible flaws. Has the appearance of never being played or handled by human hands outside of it
EX or VG++: one or maybe two very minor flaws (a light scuff or a light hairline or two, minor sleeve-wear) but plays near perfectly and still has that "new record gloss."
VG+: Some minor, light hairlines or hairline patches that never take up more than 20% of the vinyl, some minor scuffs or signs of handling that do not affect playback in any moderate or severe way. The music should always be clear with noise never distracting it. At the most, maybe some low noise during a quiet breakdown or silence will be present or some very quite pops picked up by only acute ears. Still usually showing at least a decent amount of gloss/shine.
VG: Has signs of handling and possibly minor scratches/scuffs but playback is still always enjoyable. Though noise may start to be more noticeable in non-quite sections, it never hampers the listening experience and the music is always placed in the forefront. Maybe a hint of gloss. At the worst, maybe a scratch or two on a few tracks that are at the most barely audible and easily ignored/looked past
G+ or VG-: In the worst cases, loud, constant noise, pops, distortion not recommended for DJing. Should play all the way through. VG- and many times G+ records can still be enjoyed for the most part on your home system.
G: It can play all the way through.
