An index copy of a very rare and very desirable LP. BORODIN: STRING QUARTET No. 2 SHOSTAKOVICH: STRING QUARTET No. 8 THE BORODIN QUARTET SXL 6036 1st Label WIDE BAND MATRIX: 1E / 1E LP NM Cover (scalloped back) NM- My understanding is that these LPs came from the collection of an Italian diplomat -- I will be selling a number of other LPs from his collection -- all are highly collectable, often first English label, and in excellent (generally NM) condition. Please see my other listings.
I collect (mostly) older records, focusing on performers. I'm selling most of the best stuff in my collection - please check my other items.
I?m not a dealer, but I've been a collector for 40 years. I know how it feels to get a record graded "NM-" or EX and find it not worth listening to. I do my absolute best to grade fairly, to give you the best idea how the record will sound, and I stand behind everything I?m selling.
Vinyl Grading:
M (Mint) = looks unplayed (or barely played)
NM (Near Mint) = No flaws - on more valuable records, I usually play-grade as well.
VG++ = very listenable, enjoyable record but with some surface noise and/or some relatively minor ticks
VG+ = acceptable but with some tick
