Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one by Nitzer Ebb.  This cover shows it is "lent for promotional use only..."

This record retains the original shine with no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to average around half way between VG+ (excellent) and Near Mint with some scattered very light surface noise such that might be heard on just about any record.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.   

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s). 

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Labels:Black with silver print.   No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, a few spindle marks, some short scratches. Trailing wax:Side 1: "GHS-24284-A SR1".  Side 2: "GHS-24284-B SR1". Inner sleeve(s):An original sleeve with a centered 2-3" seam split on three sides.    Cover:A small sticker front upper right corner.  Remains of a sticker front upper left corner.  Slight/general ring wear.  No seam splits.  Slight seam wear.  No pen/pencil marks.  Corners slightly/moderately worn, a few creased tips.    Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint) 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer.  Weight with box is 1 pound 1 ounces. Shipping is $3.17 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack + $.50 handling = $4.87.
Alternatively, I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 11 oz. Shipping is $3.17 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing + $.50 handling = $5.37.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
