Test Pressing Tower Of Power Direct (LAB-17) Sheffield Lab Direct To Disc. Limited Edition Pressing. Brand New. Never Been Played. Very rare limited edition long out of print album. I purchased this album title and also the West Of Oz (Lab 15) test pressing direct from the Sheffield Lab factory representative in 1981. I am the original owner of this album and a private collector, not a record dealer. This album has been in my possession since purchase and it is stored in a smoke free environment.

This direct to disc album from Sheffield Lab was intended to be used for demo's in high end audio shops before the regular album was released to the public and not intended for resale. The album cover is a plain white jacket with the Sheffield lab trademark flower that simply states Sheffield Lab Direct to Disc Recording Limited Edition,Test Pressing. There is no artist or title listed on the outside of the album cover. The outer shrink was carefully opened to identify the contents of the album which is how I ended up with them because the factory rep took them out of there main shipping cartons and could not identify which album was which title. Later on Sheffield Lab sent there promo albums out in a plain white jacket, first with a tiny hand written little stick on tag with just the Lab number and then with a larger regular tag to indentify the album title.
