Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.
My
dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of
records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and
some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he
is unable to do so himself.
You can
expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined
shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.
The
Beatles - Revolver - Yellow and Black Parlophone labels - Stereo - Earliest 1st UK Pressing – EMITEX Inner – Rare Patent Pending
Stereo Sleeve
1967
YEX 605-1 1 GT (KT tax code around spindle)
YEX 606-1 1 PD
Both sides have lots of light marks and quite a few scratches. Playtested and the actual audio is still strong and vibrant however it plays with background/static throughout (more noticable on first couple of tracks on side 2 but most of the music covers the rest of the album) and some pops/clicks in places. It plays without skips, jumps or sticks. If, like me, you dont mind a bit of static and some clicks/pops then this is ideal for you because the actual audio is great. If you want perfect audio then please do not bid. Sold as a fully playing collection filler.
Both Labels have
light signs of spiders legs under strong light. Very clean labels, no wear
or damage...See Photos.
Front
of sleeve is flat and clean with some creases around edges, a a couple of creases top left, No obvious Rubbing or
Ringwear on front. No wear to bottom edge or top
edge. Opening edge has some light handling wear. Corners have wear. Spine is Fully readable with a couple of creases
running through, still pinched each end, Back has hardly any rubbing, a bit of
discolouration to flipbacks which are a bit grubby with a couple of creases - Garrod &
Lofthouse Patent Pending sleeve. Not perfect but a Nice Example of
this rare sleeve.
Original Patents applied for Inner is flat with light
discolouration, no writing or splits but a shop stamp on one side and bit of wear to opening edge.
