This listing is a vintage and original 1981 vinyl Stereo LP by country music legend Merle Haggard entitled " Big City " Epic (FE 37593). Merle is accompanied on this recording by his band The Strangers. This is MerIe's first LP on the Epic Records label. Included as a BONUS to this LP is an original PROMO 45rpm (demonstration not not for sale) Epic (14-02686) by Merle Haggard also entitled " Big City ".
This amazing and critically acclaimed country music LP has ten (10) track in all including the #1 country singles " Big City " and " My Favorite Memory ". In addition, The single " Are The Good Times Really Over (I Wish A Buck Was Still Silver) ", reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart and won Academy of County Music "Song of the Year" for 1982. This LP with the matching bonus 45rpm will be a must have for any fan of "Hag" and who enjoys listening to and collecting vintage Merle Haggard vinyl LPs.
CONDITION of VINYL: This shiny LP vinyl shows only minimal signs of past handling and play. We have fully test played each side and found the playback to be excellent. We rate this vintage vinyl's condition to be Excellent Plus (EX+) under Goldmine guidelines. The original Epic inner sleeve with all lyrics on one side and an awesome 12x12 Black & White photo of Merle on the reverse side (the inner sleeve has some oler tape on bottom edge and newer tape on side edges.
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket is very clean with great cover photo worthy of framing if one is so inclined. The back cover features of landscape color photo of "Big Sky Country" and the LP track titles and LP credits for the band and others. The overall jacket is in very nice shape indeed with only a hint of ring wear from past storage. We rate it's condition as Excellent Plus (EX+) under Goldmine guidelines. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 37 year-old album for future generation to enjoy. 
THE COLLECTIBLE BONUS WHITE LABLE PROMO 45rpm record included is in Near Mint (NM) condition. Each side has the same "Big City" stereo recording. It comes with the original Epic sleeve with a few minor tears and a new poly slip-on outer sleeve (see photos).

The LP vinyl within the inner sleeve and the 45rpm bonus record will be separated from outer jacket during shipment. A heavy duty LP record mailer will be used with inserts and ample bubble wrap. Never a packing charge.
