Hi,

On offer here is a signed / autographed copy of the LP The Slide Area by Ry Cooder.


This LP came from a collection of signed albums that I believe belonged to someone who worked for a Country Music magazine (Country Music People?) and who got to interview Country Stars when they came to the UK to perform.

The majority of these LPs are personalised “to Colin” and a number of them have record company “promotional only” stamps on the sleeve. Some of the autographs also mention “thanks for the interview, chat” etc. On this record the autograph has not been personalised. The back of the sleeve has also been autographed by John Hiatt (last photo).

 

The vinyl appears to have been played only once or twice and is in Near Mint to Mint condition. The sleeve shows signs of wear with some creasing on the side spine. There is also creasing in the bottom left and top right hand corners (photos 3 & 4). There is some minor ringwear and a split in the top spine (photo 2).
