Getz/Gilberto featuring Antonio Carlos Jobim - EX/NM Mono 1st Pressing V-8545. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.

This is a mono 1st pressing of the jazz/bossa nova classic Getz/Gilberto featuring Antonio Carlos Jobim on Verve Records. Truly one of the major albums of the 1960's featuring "The Girl From Ipanema". I can confirm this is a 1st pressing based on the matrix numbers which are:

Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout): V8545 Side1 63 VG160 Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout): V8545 Side2 63 VG161
Record: EX/NM Sleeve: VG+
The record sounds fantastic. Warm and full analog sound only these early Verve records can get. I listened to this record with headphone and give it a solid EX play grade. At times it plays at a NM play grade. Most other sellers would give this a solid NM, but I want to be on the safe side and give it a solid EX.
The sleeve is solid and has all of the edges and corners intact. Has a strong spine as well. It has slight wear on the bottom of the front cover (see photos). The back cover has signs of ringwear, but nothing major (see photos). The gatefold is crisp and still makes that squeaky sound when you open it up!
