This is the circa 1962/66, “VAN GELDER” stamped, Laminated Jacket, pressing of BIG JOHN PATTON “Let ‘Em Roll” on the “New York” labels of Blue Note BST 84239.
VINYL has excellent gloss. Plays clean. Some pops and ticks. Super dynamic. No distortion. No skips. All analog Rudy Van Gelder sound as only heard on a pre-1979 pressing. The New York labels are clean with marker writing on Side 1. OG inner sleeve included. See photos.
JACKET is in very good shape, corners worn, marker writing on front cover. Ringwear present. Seams and spine SOLID. Back jacket CLEAN. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system.
