The Beatles Please Please Me 1st Mono Pressing Gold Black Dick James Vinyl VG

Extremely rare MONO 1st pressing including Angus McBean Credit, Dick James Credit and the Emitex Inner with Patent Bottom Left

Matrix Numbers: 1N / 1N

Mother & Stampers: 1O 1M Stampers

This vinyl has been play tested on a Rega RP1 and graded using Record Collector Grading System.

Outer Sleeve

Overall graded VG. There are a few creases to the laminate and on the back of the outer there is a few tares on the fold over (since repaired) and also a few scuffs to the corners, there are also some brown tape marks that are on the fold over on the top and bottom of the outer. There is also a little tare where the opening of the vinyl goes in at the top and bottom corners. Pictures will show all of this however this really is a lovely cover to say its is from 1963! A very rare example of this lovely cover!

Inner Sleeve

Original Emitex inner is in VG. Has a few creases to the inner and there are also a few tiny tares where the vinyl goes in. There is also two tares on both of the sides at the top, again where the vinyl goes in. On the lining of the inner where you can see the vinyl label, there is a scratch on the lining looks like someone has scraped the lining but its not noticeable until you really look closely. But there are no major rips or splits and only a few marks which pictures will show. Overall its is a lovely inner that has been taken care of.

Record & Labels.

Overall graded VG. Now the vinyl! We play tested it all the way through and it really is such a good audio. We'll try downgrade it so you will be even happier when it arrives. It has a few surface marks that are very faint and very few noticeable marks and a couple of scratches that you will see in the pictures below, however they don't affect audio at all! There is a little bit of crackle and noise in between songs but because of how old the vinyl is it adds character (I guess) to the vinyl ! There is also some pop's at the end of the vinyl and in some quieter parts but again not many at all! There were no skips or jumps to both sides at all ! Labels are in VG condition and the 'Black and Gold' label really suit it! There are no marks to the labels are there is only a couple of 'scuffs' if you can even call them that,  where it has been played but it is not noticeable at all !

It really is one of a kind ! We were really surprised how lovely it played, and we were very tempted to keep this one, but we know that someone out there will love it even more than us, and we want to fulfil that dream !

Please see the high quality photos as these form part of our description.
