BILLY JOEL Greatest Hits Volume I & II 1985 Vinyl LP CBS 88666

Please note that I am NOT a record dealer (as a quick glance at my feedback profile will prove). I bought this from a second hand record shop for a Christmas present for someone but it turns out they already have it 🤦‍♂️.

My description and grading is my honest attempt to make the item as transparent as possible so you know what you are getting as records can be a tricky old thing to buy. But this one (which I have listened to from start to finish) seem very good to me.

Sleeve/disc EX/EX-

The sleeve looks great with only minor corner wear. Slight creasing on the spine but the writing is still clear.

Inner sleeves not damaged at all.

Discs:

Side 1. Looks excellent. plays very cleanly. No obvious pops. A little spindle wear visible if you catch the light right

Side 2. Looks excellent. More crackle than 1, but still plays very well and I think I noticed one pop. Spindle wear zero. Looks like this side of this disc was played most frequently on that basis.

Side 3. Look excellent. A little crackle but to me that’s only apparent I between tracks. A little spindle wear visible, again only when you catch the light, not damage.

Side 4. Looks excellent. A little audible crackle at the start of the first track, but again this doesn’t really come through for much of the play.

I’ve listened to the whole album and I did not discern any scratch issues.
