First Pressing Sun 1220 Johnny Cash Hot And Blue Guitar LP 1957 Vinyl Record. The sound of the original is raw, visceral, and immediate!Condition is Used, surface noise but very listenable and very playable. Great opportunity to own an original Sun Records LP. There is something about seeing that Sun label going around on the turntable.
S1 run out groove / deadwax is "SU 119" and (delta) triangle 240, "SU 120" and (delta) triangle 241 on S2.
Beyond the markings on the vinyl itself, here are some label features present only on the original pressing (later reissues would omit these):
"33 1/3" and "1220" at 9 o'clock on the label
"Microgroove" at 3 o'clock on the label
Font size of "Memphis, Tennessee" at 6 o'clock
Deep groove in the label
Remember: The sound of the original is far better than subsequent fake stereo re-issues. It's not in perfect condition, cover taped, pen marks, some wear to LP - as you can see from the photos - but it is a surviving original pressing Sun Records Johnny Cash album...please ask me questions prior to buying.
