23 LPs, 3 x 12” and one 10”, mainly 1970s Rock, some later.

I’m thinning out my collection, some of these were purchased by me at time of release, others purchased as part of larger lots that I’ve bought over years of on and off collecting. Many have hardly been played.

Almost all the vinyls look EX or better with many EX+ or Near Mint, clean and free from significant marks or scratches (exceptions are mentioned below). I’ve recently tested a few but I haven’t the time to play check them all, however they’ve all been visually checked under strong light. No duffs or worn out vinyl - I haven’t included anything that looks as if there might be any untested playback issues.

Sleeves are generally fine, VG to Near Mint with no splits or significant damage, just varying levels of general wear, again see below for any exceptions.

Any lyric / picture inner sleeves and / or inserts present are mentioned below. Other inners will be plain or standard company inners. UK pressings unless stated.

Gradings refer to the UK Record Collector Magazine standard (shown below). I would only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under a spotlight. Play testing is done on my Pro-ject or Rega turntable.

Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
