Notes on This Pressing: Atlantic SD 7201  Shelley Pressing Gatefold Die Cut Spinning Sleeve  1970 Vinyl is VG with a few areas of minor scuffing. Side 2 center label has two very small tears below mfg. notes. Jacket is also VG with a bit of ringwear, more noticeable on back cover. Spinner intact. Along edges, particularly bottom edge, there is slight stain from water damage. Some wear on seams & corners.
Please note,  I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect...
For the VG vinyl - Generally worth 25% of Near Mint value. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

For the VG Jacket - Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. [This] will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time. Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price.
***WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up.***
