Hifi Addict white vinyl turntable mat upgrade provides both aesthetic look as well as sonical improvement to playback sound quality as the platter mat absorb vibration energy in a unique way, ultimately enabling a stylus to make improved contact with the grooves on a record. More natural sound with improved dynamics, clarity, tighter bass response and more high-frequency details. This mat gloss surface also allows for anti-skate calibration which is critical for both sound quality and prevention of uneven wear of the grooves. Finish: gloss top with mat bottom, thickness: approx 3mm, diameter: 11.75” with recess center area for record label, compatible with all turntables with standard 12” platters.
Note: this white acrylic mat has a tiny gray mark (about 1/16”) on the surface approx 5/8" from the edge (please see pic). It’s not a scratch, just an inclusion in the material. It’s not very noticeable but I point it out to be true to the description. For this reason, I decide to reduce the price by 15%.
