Two classics from guitarist/composer, FRANK ZAPPA, featuring his more orchestral arrangements as only FZ could accomplish; namely, "Studio Tan" from 1978; and "Orchestral Favorites" from 1979.  Both albums gave Mr. Zappa room to flex his composing prowess while keeping all the humor intact.  Evidenced by song titles such as: "Greggery Peccary"; "Redunzl" (from ST); and "Pedro's Dowry"; "Duke Of Prunes"' (from OF); plus others on these two solo albums by the late guitarist.  FZ gave us a legacy of exacting but whimsical music, which son Dweezil delivers to old and new audiences alike.  Both vinyl albums are in NM condition.  Cover art by Gary Panter who went on to do Ralph Record covers, among other illustration work.  The covers have a promotional stamp; one plainly visible on the front of "Studio Tan"; and the other hidden by a hype sticker on reverse side of "Orchestral Favorites" as seen in the photos.  Both cover jackets are in EX (or better) condition.  Photos are part of the description.  Free shipping within the continental USA.
