Beatles - Abbey Road vinyl (rare first pressing). Condition is "Used".
Rare 1st pressing of Abbey Road.
Features the misaligned Apple logo on the back of the sleeve. Also does not mention “Her Majesty” text on label or sleeve.
Matrix numbers are YEX 749 -2 Side One and YEX 750 -1 on Side two.
The vinyl is generally good and there is still a great sheen to the record. There are a few small scratches which I am listing these defects to ensure that the description is full and complete not to try and suggest that the record is defective. The most significant mark causes a line to be missed during "She Came in Through the Bathroom window" on Side Two one and another scratch which causes a tiny amount of popping during the track "Sun King" and another which causes some crackling on Side One during "Come together". Other than that the sound quality is very good and I really enjoyed listening to such an iconic album for the purpose of writing this description!
The labels are very clean although the label on side one is marked with a former owner’s name as pictured
The laminated sleeve is in fair condition with some creasing as pictured. Laminate stops around 2mm short of the opening which causes a slight difference in colouration.
Corners are slightly rounded through use as pictured. Spine is straight.
Released in 1969 on Apple PCS 7088.
Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. Can arrange for international postage but at extra cost.
