The First LP... Columbia ML 4001 June 1948 XLP 276 XLP 277 on 220 gram vinylite, in the top open kraft paper envelope, including the retail album marker showing the original list price of $4.85 dated Aug 18 (1948).
Vinyl condition Vg+ Envelope condition G+ with part of the flap missing, Label cpndition NM. (The envelope was replaced early on with a more durable cardboard sleeve.) Mendelssohn Concerto in E Minor Nathan Milstein..Violin. Philharmonic Symphony of NewYork. Bruno Walter Conducting. There were perhaps 10,000 of these pressed of which only a few dozen survive. One is held by the Library of Congress. This one is play tested at 0.8 grams, very minor surface noise, no skips or other groove issues. This is an exceedingly rare LP in nearly impossible to find VG+ condition. Mailed overnight.
