This is a first pressing of Blue by Joni Mitchell. In looking on Discogs to determine what exact pressing it is, I believe it to be a 1971 first pressing from the Santa Maria Press. The run out etching and marks are the closest to that description. This classic sounds amazing. This is a rare gem from the DH collection that he did not write on the cover at all and must not have played it too much because it's really in fine shape. He was more a Fleetwood Mac guy, I guess.

Welcome to the DH Collection, a collection of records by an amazing man - a legend - whose initials DH can be found gracing the top left corner on the covers of every selection in his amazingly curated record collection. Most of these records span from the late 60s to the late 80s with some exceptions. DH who is a dear friend of mine, was a pretty popular fellow back in the day. You picking up what I'm putting down? To this day, DH is a super cool dude who lives his best life and spends his time being fun, kind and generous of heart. He spends his days making the world a better place through service to others. All of that is to say that most of the records from this fine collection are going to range in condition between Good and Very Good. I have found a few MINT GEMS in the mix - they do exist in the DH collection! However, for the most part, my guy was smoking weed and getting laid... he wasn't worried about the condition of his records when he was having too much fun to care. He never once said, "oh hey, this is my first pressing of POCO, please don't bounce so hard." NO WAY! That's not how DH rolls. These records still sound pretty damn good, and they bring you back to a simpler time in life. They've got a little soul to 'em. A little flavor of decades past. So maybe there's an occasional hiss or pop, or a some background noise here and there,  but nothing that's gonna interrupt your flow. Not tonight. You're in the zone - the DH zone. All records from the "DH" collection (and all records I sell) are Play Graded prior to listing. I will specifically list any significant imperfections which include cosmetic issues on the cover, any major background noise, loud hiss or pops, etc on the vinyl. If I hear actual skips or jumps, I will not sell the record. I want you to be thrilled with the new addition(s) to your collection. Do what you do to relax and unwind, pop your new "DH" collection LP on the turntable, sit back and enjoy the ride.
