The album documents Jennings' outlaw country years for RCA and includes several of his most well-known signature songs, the most recent of which had been the title track of I've Always Been Crazy, released the year before. Greatest Hits became Jennings' eighth consecutive release to reach #1 on the charts; it was also one of his last chart-topping records, with What Goes Around Comes Around, released that same year, peaking at #2.  The album has been 5× Platinum certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

 DESCRIPTION AND GRADING BELOW

Please read entire item description below before bidding impulsively, as there may be a specific mention of detail or wear on the vinyl or cover that you may not have had the time to read about, yet, I have described.  I test my records by playing them completely through unless NM or Sealed (in order to protect their quality) before listing. I do not get dissuaded by surface scratches on albums, that does not mean the Album skips so please be comfortable if you receive one from me with them - as the records are previously owned.

If you are unhappy, I offer a return period. I also encourage you to contact me via email if you find the record is not as I represented. The grading itself is sometimes subjective though I have tried hard to use some type of standard.  The detailed grading I use is Goldmine Standard.

Description:  Hearing Waylon and Willie Nelson together is one of the most awarding points of this album.  That is hard to qualify though as the WHOLE album is phenomenal.  The vinyl itself still has the original sheen with only a few minor cosmetic defects.  They certainly do not create any problems with the music.  A solid VG+!  The cover is VG with some shelf wear.  The inner sleeve is non-remarkable.

Grading: A Very Good Plus (VG+) record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner.

A Very Good (VG) Album sleeve may include Labels marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.
