Please read entire item description below before bidding impulsively, as there may be a specific mention of detail or wear on the vinyl or cover that you may not have had the time to read about, yet, I have described. I test my records by playing them completely through unless NM or Sealed (in order to protect their quality) before listing. I do not get dissuaded by surface scratches on albums, that does not mean the Album skips so please be comfortable if you receive one from me with them - as the records are previously owned.
If you are unhappy, I offer a return period. I also encourage you to contact me via email if you find the record is not as I represented. The grading itself is sometimes subjective though I have tried hard to use some type of standard. The detailed grading I use is Goldmine Standard/eBay Standard.
Description and Grading:
Golden Era Vol. 2 - Vinyl has a nice sheen to it. There are a few surface scratches but very minimal static in between a song or two. All quickly faded. The cover has shelf wear, front flap disconnected. Overall, the album is a VG and the cover is G (since the front flap is not connected, jacket protector provided).
The Mamas & The Papas Deliver - Vinyl has a nice sheen to it and there are surface scratches. Some static at some intros but doesn't last.. The cover has a split along the bottom. There is a small stamp, top left. Overall the album is a VG and the cover is a VG.
The Mamas & The Papas - Vinyl has a great sheen. There are some light cosmetic scratches but no static on the album. The cover has all seams in tact. There is some writing on the back and lower left corner. Grading as a VG+, cover VG.
VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
VG records may have surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise.
VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or it or stamped a price tag on it, too.
A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
