As a music lover and hobbyist, NOT a record dealer, starting to sell my 45 year+ collection, mostly mint, mint- condition, VG + at worst. Over the years ALL my LPs have been DD 'Miracle Record Cleaner? hand brush cleaned/rinsed with 2 separate brushes plus machine dry.? a detailed 3-step process? not easy or quick but well worth it even with new pressings to remove mold release compounds. All around for the best sound IMO.
Every record sold had the full 'Disc Doctor? brand Miracle Record Cleaner cleaning, unless sealed. (now sold/distributed by Acoustic Sounds in Salina, KS) Seperate purified water rinsed, separate water brush, then Nitty Gritty machine vacuumed dried.... the best way to really clean an LP. Most of my collection has only been played one or twice. Since all have been hand and machine cleaned, no further cleaning is required, just a carbon fiber brush is really all is needed to keep light dust away.Records are shipped in a padded 13 x 13 x 1 record mailer inside a rice sleeve. 100% positive EBay feedback
