ALBUMS PROVIDED IN PROTECTIVE SLEEVES
Description:
Smooth Talk: Vinyl looks good with very few cosmetic marks. The sound is amazing and Shame sounds especially good! I did detect a bit of static between songs so giving this a conservative VG. The cover shows some shelf wear. The album has been stored in a protective sleeve.
Get Loose: Vinyl has surface marks that don't interrupt the sound and still retains its' original sheen. The album is so smooth to listen to, easily earning a VG+!! The cover is VG with a small amount of shelf wear and a small name written right corner, front side. The album has been stored in a protective sleeve.
Please read entire item description below before bidding/buying impulsively, as there may be a specific mention of detail or wear on the vinyl or cover that you may not have had the time to read about, yet, I have described. I test my records by playing them completely through unless NM or Sealed (in order to protect their quality) before listing. I do not get dissuaded by surface scratches on albums, that does not mean the Album skips so please be comfortable if you receive one from me with them - as the records are previously owned.
If you are unhappy, I offer a return period. I also encourage you to contact me via email if you find the record is not as I represented. The grading itself is sometimes subjective though I have tried hard to use some type of standard. The detailed grading I use is Goldmine Standard/eBay Standard.
Grading:
(VG+) Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
(VG) Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time.
