How We Ship:

All items are provided free shipping via Media Mail. Here’s how we handle our products:

Vinyl: As of December 6th, 2020 we send out all of our records in “Mighty Music Mailers” from Bags Unlimited. All records are placed in an additional outer sleeve and whenever possible a sheet of bubble wrap is placed within the mailer to further secure the record. If the size of the record is too large for us to safely place bubble wrap inside without causing complications then we will not do so, but still make certain that everything is secured and not shaking around. After sealing the mailer we add an additional strip of packing tape underneath the pull strip opener to ensure nothing will open up while shipping. 

How We Grade Sealed Vinyl: 

Just because something is “Sealed/New” does not mean it is without potential defects or blemishes. We scan sealed vinyl as closely as we can in search of details such as:

Tears in plastic packaging 

Color fading on the front and back cover art 

Corner bends 

Edge whitening 

Splits in the jacket/sleeve

Indents or nicks 

Creases and perforations 

Holes and punctures 

Sticker residue from original price labels

Unless there’s a very blatant warning sign, media is presumed mint in factory sealed products. We never deem the packaging to be mint as there’s almost always some level of shelf wear, so all of our grading for the outside portion starts at the level of “Excellent”.
