STOP THE WORLD (AND LET ME OFF) - USA 8" ACETATE

Scarce USA Single 8" 1-sided acetate featuring a typed label with a playing area of 7" which plays a version of the song 'Stop The World (and left me off)' .  Pressed on the '4 Star Music Company' label who are a US publisher afilliated with BMI.  Originally for demo , in-house use appears to be a demo version without an unknown vocalist.
 (This song was released by numerous artists including Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Susan Raye & carl Belew and this version is a slower tempo which does'nt appear to be any of those vocaiists) .   These items by their very nature are rare with only handfuls produced.
Came from a collection of discs which all appear to be 1965-70, all on the '4 Star Music' publishing label , Probably all used in-house for demo recording purposes and later issued to other artists for release , hence the male vocals and tempo are different due be being a in house demo version.

Issued in the Late Sixties   it's amazing to have survived..

Acetates are known to deteriorate with each play and this is sold as a unique historical artefact (Over 50 years old)

GRADING: Excellent (disc / used Audio disc sleeve)
DESCRIPTION:  Only lightly used with no defects or scratches.. Very playable
