Stevie Ray Vaughan, last performance, live form the Alpine Music Theater, East Troy, Wisconsin 26th August 1990.
Stevie Ray Vaughan’s final performance was full of his usual fire and emotion. Despite being in the middle of a grueling tour opening for Eric Clapton, he was enjoying his newfound sobriety and on peak form as he shared the stage with Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and his brother Jimmie. Presented in excellent fidelity, together with background notes and images, this is a fitting memorial to one of the finest blues guitarists America has ever produced.
