Please read all of this fully :

I try to grade conservatively. Please check out my feedback. I don't sell much these days but I've bought and sold vinyl well over 20 years with few problems ever. I DO ACCEPT RETURNS....but there are exceptions (continue reading below). It's possible that I may make a mistake....but it doesn't happen often as I do my best to describe each item in great detail. PLEASE be sure that you read the description in full, view the pics and decide if this is what you want.

All the LPs I sell come with a plastic outer sleeve and a new plain white inner sleeve (or better static free sleeve if possible) as well as the original when available. LPs are packed carefully with the LP, inner sleeve, etc outside of the cover to prevent possible splitting and with cardboard on each side for extra protection.

Buy with confidence!! However.... If you're looking for a dead mint record that looks and smells brand new, buy a new record, not a used one. When purchasing an LP there's several things to keep in mind......there is no such thing as "perfect" when it comes to this format, or any analog format. If you want dead silence in between tracks and 100% clean playback I suggest you go to HD Tracks and knock yourself out. LPs aren't perfectly clean digital files. If you understand vinyl then you know you might get a certain LP that has a little surface noise, a few light ticks, a pop, etc etc BUT it's still magical when you put it on. Stunning. Just don't expect every LP that was ever pressed to be capable of the impossible. I've only ever had 3 returns in 20 years and NONE were because I hadn't described it accurately....it was because they didn't look at the pics (a mere overight), assumed they were buying something other than described (baffling), or they just plain didn't want the item they purchased (speechless). THIS is just silly. This is why I tend to repeat myself over and over and over again. I'M HAPPY TO ACCEPT A RETURN and PAY ALL the shipping and expense....but I won't do this anymore simply because someone "didn't read the description" etc etc. I make very, very little money selling records, tapes, etc on Ebay. After fees, shipping costs, taxes, etc, pretty much next to nothing. So I sincerely appreciate your understanding regarding returns. I want you to be happy with your purchase so please look at the pics. Don't assume this item is something it's not. When in doubt, ask if you are unsure of anything!!!

FYI :

This and all of the LPs I sell are play graded on a PRO-JECT Debut Carbon Esprit SB turntable with Ortofon BLUE (as of 9-16-20) cartridge which isn't high end but certainly above average. It MAY reveal limitations perhaps not as noticeable in the average turntable so I think it's ideal for play grading LPs. ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE BE AWARE that every stylus/cartridge/needle tracks differently. An LP may skip on my turntable and NOT on yours. Or vice versa. Please consider this before you purchase. If I make a mistake, I'll do everything I can to make it right as quickly as possible. If you ever have a problem, please just let me know.

REMEMBER :

I sell USED items. Most of the LPs or 8 tracks that I sell are bought second hand. Some I bought new. I personally have never stored them in damp, musty places. BUT I cannot guarantee that 40-60 year old records or 8 tracks have never been in these type of places and will smell like new car, fresh linens etc. If this is what you're looking for, buy new vinyl. PERIOD. Don't buy from me. I'd never hide anything like this or any flaw on purpose.....but I don't have a sensitive nose and can't always detect what someone with a very strong sense of smell may.
If you'd rather leave NEGATIVE or even NEUTRAL feedback INSTEAD of asking simply for a REFUND, PLEASE do NOT buy from me. 8 Track Tapes are delicate and MAY play different from player to player and RECORD GRADING is always subject to interpretation. PLEASE just ask me for a refund if you are not happy with your purchase. Thanks for understanding.

I normally DO NOT ship internationally. However, if you are interested in an item feel free to message me and we will try and figure something out. Thanks for looking!!!

Record grading :

Mint (M):  Perfection, no flaws, defects, marks or otherwise indications of being handled or played. Any scuffs, hairline scratches or other marks disqualify discs from this category. I do not use this grade, as even the act of inserting the disc or removing it from the paper sleeve may cause scuff marks on the vinyl.

Near Mint (NM):  This is highest grade assigned to opened, handled records. The vinyl is near flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

Excellent (EX):  Disc plays really nice, but may have minor paper scuffs or other marks that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a few hairline scratches but nothing that affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or minor writing, etc.) but otherwise clean.

Very Good (VG):  Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.

Very Good Minus (VG-): Vinyl and cover will be a little worse tha‍‎n VG. I rarely sell records below this grade unless they are very desirable and can go to a good home of someone who may not be able to afford a really expensive pressing.

Below this grade (G+, G): Vinyl will have many scratches, likely much surface noise, and possibly even skips.

Some records also may look incredibly rough but still play really clean. PLEASE keep all of this in mind. I've bought 7-8 pressings of certain records just trying to find a clean one and most all of them LOOKED clean. But even if it looks clean doesn't mean it will sound clean. Happy hunting!!!
