Because of this, I do not ship to foreign buyers if the value of the item is less than $20.  For items $20-$50, I can ship First class International to buyers with perfect feedback.  This method is NOT insurable or trackable, but costs less.  Weight must be less than 4 pounds.  For items $50-$100, I would ship via priority mail international with insurance for the value bid.  Some countries do not allow insurance.  Please e-mail for shipping costs before bidding as this method costs more, but is insurable (usually) and trackable.   For items > $100, it will have to go some method that can be signed for.  Global Express, probably, it is expensive!

Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique discs, this one by  northern soul artist Freddie Houston  

  Several unique things about this auction:  First, this disc retains the original shine with a few very light/light marks   grading by sight in normal room light.   I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you. 

I don't claim this record is mint.  I took the time to play it and found four very/light/light pops towards the beginning of the Chills side.  I noted one very light pop on the I gotta side.  Both sides with some very, very light surface noise which was hard to hear because the vocals are LOUD.  The I gotta side is very upbeat music, it makes one want to get up and dance ! :-)  A visual exam showed the pops on the Chills side due to a scratch, so that's not going to come out.   I'd audibly average the two sides at better than VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below.  

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no current offerings on e-bay !

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3),  NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Artist:Freddie Houston Title:Chills and fever / I gotta move Record:Black vinyl with the original shine with a few very light/light marks  grading by sight in normal room light.  Labels:Blue with black print.  No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, no spindle marks.  Slight ring wear.    Trailing wax:Side 1: "OT1204".  Side 2: "OT1203". Comments:I found the two sides to audibly average better than VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below.  A unique addition to your 45 RPM collection. Side 1:Comments: Chills and Fever I found four very/light/light pops towards the beginning  plus some scattered  very, very light surface noise which was hard to hear because the vocals are LOUD (3.0). Side 2:Comments: I gotta moveI found one very light pop plus some scattered very, very light surface noise which was hard to hear because the vocals are LOUD (3.5).

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)  3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise  3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops  VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)  VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise  G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise 

I normally ship 7" discs in 12"x10"x3" boxes.  Weight with box is about 9 oz.  Shipping is:  $2.80 Media Rate (0-1 pounds) + $1.00 box/tape/packing + $.20 handling  = $4.00.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.00.  This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.  Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end.  Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra.  Payment received within ten days of auction ending. Payment via Paypal preferred.
