Very rare and original, 1922 Victor Talking Machine Company / Victrola Records Chromolithograph Die Cut Advertising Hand Fan.

    This very early, Victrola Records Advertising Fan measures approx. 8 1/4” tall and 12 1/2”at its widest point.

    The front side of the Fan features views of a Musical Stage Performance, an Opera, a Piano & Violin Concert and a live band dance party. Text below the images reads “The World’s Best Music on Victor Records”. The bottom portion of this side of the Fan features an image of a “slice” of a Victor Record.

    The back of the Fan features an image of a summer evening dance on a portico with Japanese Paper Lanterns decorating the dance floor. Three young, sophisticated couples dance to the music being played on a Victor Talking Machine by an older woman at the right. There is overprint at the bottom of the back side of the fan for Malarkey’s Music Store of Pottsville, Pennsylvania – sellers of “Victor Victrolas and Records”.

    This rare and original, Victrola Record Player and Records Advertising Hand Fan is in good to very good condition. While the colors are bright and vibrant and there is no significant soiling or staining, there are strong creases at the bottom of the Fan (where one would hold it) as well as a crease at one of the top corners and edge wear at the other top corner.
