AL BOWLLY sings one track on six track HMV puzzle record No.1 B-3775, 1931.
Each side of this record has three grooves that start at the outside edge and play three different tracks. each title is about 1 minute long and the track you get depends on which groove you start the stylus in. It was recorded in England by an HMV house band (his Orchestra?) directed by Ray Noble. one track by Al Bowlly. "Youre Driving Me Crazy" there is another vocal "Okay Baby" does not sound like him. whilst Al Bowlly recorded it I can not find any reference to it for the Puzzle record,
Side
1 was recorded at Small Queen's Hall, London on Feb. 19, 1931 and
consists of "The King's Horses", "Okay Baby", and "Wedding Bells Are
Ringing For Sally".
Side
2 was recorded at Hayes, Middlesex on March 9th, 1931 and has "Bye Bye
Blues", "You're Driving Me Crazy" (vocal: Al Bowlly), and "Sweet Jennie
Lee".*
The record has two groups of light scratches on side (1) which produce a few light and vary light clicks other than a little very light surface noise it plays exceptionally well loud and clear, is in a dealers card sleeve of the period
