PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!
Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - 5150 LP from 1986 on Warner Bros. Records (#25394-1). This is a frist pressing. This LP is getting harder to find as LP's were being phased out by the CD age in the mid to late 1980's. And this one is in great shape.
Has a BLACK & WHITE PHOTOCOPY of the original Hype Sicker.
This LP features the big hits Why Can't This Be Love, Dreams, Love Walks In and Summer Nights.
This is the first Van Halen LP with The Red Rocker Sammy Hagar on vocals replacing Diamond David Lee Roth.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition but you may hear some pops & clicks and some surface noise. As is with a VERY GOOD rating there is a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Has 5150 etched in the dead wax on both sides. There is a reddish - pinkish stain / discoloration of an unknown origin around the spindle hole on Side 2.
The cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, minor scrapes and ring wear. There are no split seams. There are 2 slight bends / creases in the middle and near the top of the cover.
The custom inner lyric sleeve is in very good condition with a few wrinkles and there is a split seam on one side. To further protect the inner sleeve, the LP is now being housed in a plain white sleeve.
I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME!
I am the original owner. I purchased this new in Chicago in 1986. I listened to it many times back in the day. Not played in over 30 years.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. My loss is your gain! This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
