A huge upbeat anthem from the early ’70s by Bobby Hutton, if you’ve ever been curious about Northern Soul, this would be a good place to start.
1969 was the first thing heard of Bobby, then “Lend A Hand” was found on an LP, before it was established later as a 45 release due to interest on the 70’s Northern Scene – upon which Kev Roberts puts “Lend A Hand” at 46 on his Top 500.
