Available for purchase is the ORIGINAL VINYL STEREO LP, "Surrealistic Pillow", by Jefferson Airplane, released on RCA Victor in 1967 (LSP-3766). The LP appears to be in VG+ condition, with light surface marks; the cover is opened, but still in shrink wrap, and is NM, as is the original inner sleeve. This was Jefferson Airplane's first album, and Rolling Stone has ranked it # 146 on its list of the 500 greatest albums. It features their raw, driving, psychedelic sound with numbers like "Someone to Love", "White Rabbit", "Plastic Fantastic Lover", and "3/5 of a Mile in Ten Seconds".
All proceeds from this sale will be donated to a scholarship fund established in memory of my son, Chris, at the University of Mary Washington, where he was in attendance at the time of his death in 2008.
