UK press from 1984, Smiths compilation with like hundreds of classics. “How Soon Is Now?”, “This Charming Man”, “Please Please Please…” etc.
Cover shows some wear, particularly on the spine, beginnings of seam splitting on the top but nothing too terrible. Sticker residue as well.
Record was cleaned on a Record Doctor machine and I listened to the whole thing both sides, and I loved every minute of it.
There is some crackling between tracks, as well as being audible during quieter portions of the music. Couple stray pops here and there. Only sad disturbing part is that songs B6 and B7 have an annoying amount of audible pops. I wouldn’t say it overwhelms the music but for those two songs I must admit it kinda sucks. The record was played many times. If you want a dead silent musical experience then buy the CD.
At the end of the day, it’s a pretty decent copy. If it was super fucked up I wouldn’t sell it.
