Hank Ballard/Midnighters "Kansas City" King STEREO 5195 Record & Custom Pic Slv
This is Detroit R&B singing group Hank Ballard and The Midnighters singing "Kansas City" on King STEREO 5195 from 1959. This # 72 chart record looks to be a strong VG++ with very minor surface markings but plays in NM condition and comes in a King Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve that is in MINT condition. These sleeves are made in Canada or England and are one-off sleeves that are NOT mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. It should be noted that the picture sleeve has a different flip side listed than what is offered here on the King release. It was not unusual back in the day for international releases to have different flips than what was on the USA releases.
