        Vinyl:

VERY GOOD+ (VG+) Both sides of the record are glossy, has retained its original high sheen having some light   superficial (mostly inner sleeve type) marking, hairlines (inaudible lightest scratching which not effect playback)   visible when viewed at an angle under bright light. The record plays VG+ throughout, with minor to moderate background noise in quieter spots (a few minor ticks may be heard on track 4, side 2), without alarming issues and with a great audio quality.

       Cover:

EXCELLENT (EX)  An Original Cardboard Gatefold Cover having light signs of previous careful use .... sharp and solid. There is PROMO stamp at upper left corner. No major d efects, no creasing, no seams splits, no unwanted writings, spine is intact and fully readable  (see picture).

Indian Summer biography Founded in Coventry, UK in 1969 - Disbanded in 1972
These four musicians came out of Coventry and made one sole album released on the rare Neon Records (other releases of interest to progheads on that label would be SPRING, TONTON MACOUTE) that did not manage to promote their artists correctly, although INDIAN SUMMER had the same management as BLACK SABBATH. Their album consists of fairly long numbers with much KB-driven hard rock and lots of instrumental interplay-- a typical release of the times. Although the band could be placed among the likes of Mk2, PURPLE or URIAH HEEP, they manage to have a sound of their own. This is a basic quartet - HARKER on bass, HOOPER on drums, Bob JACKSON's KB & vocals, and Colin WILLIAMS's guitar - but they have enough tricks up their sleeves to keep you interested and enthused throughout the album.
INDIAN SUMMER is highly recommended to progheads who are in love with the early 70's and wishing to delve deeper past the classics toward finding smaller gems such as this one.

RECORD GRADING

I use a very conservative process when grading my eBay items.

MINT

Sealed album...!!!

NEAR MINT

Like new. The vinyl retains its original gloss, and the jacket is clean with no wear nor marks on the label.

          EX              EXCELLENT

May have a few scuffs or very light scratches which do not affect its playability. May have some minor rubs on the label or spindle. May have some writing on the label which will be noted. May have some slight wear on the jacket but no splits! This is the desirable grade for most collectors.

VG+
VERY GOOD+

The vinyl and cover has light general wear including scratches (may be audible), small splits on the jacket, and some label wear (including writing).

VG
VERY GOOD

General wear both on vinyl and jacket, audible scratches, split jacket (including ringwear) and label wear.

POOR/DAMAGED

Non-playable!!! Sold for the jacket only, or sold as a "rare" filler copy.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN VINYL WAS THE STANDARD, 20 TO 30% OF ALBUMS CAME OUT OF THE SHRINK WRAP AS BAD PRESSINGS WITH SURFACE NOISE. OBVIOUSLY, SUCH BAD PRESSINGS WOULD NOT BE IDENTIFIABLE THROUGH VISUAL EXAMINATION, NO MATTER HOW CAREFUL

Happy Bidding !
