Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode.
***HAS ALL OF THE 4 ORIGINAL INSERTS.***
Comes with the original Poster, lyric booklet, scraps booklet and 2 sided fan club order form. The fan club order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in great shape, but have some crumples and creases typical with age.
The gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD condition (this cover typically does not age well, but this one is in GREAT shape) with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, white fade spots, a few crumples, and minor ring wear. NO SPLIT SEAMS.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause some surface noise. Even with a Very Good grading there is a going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME!
Nice fairly clean labels. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day(I had other copies that I played, this one stayed on the shelf). Not played in over 30+ years.
